Adolescent Residential Treatment Program Opening in Beaver County
Gateway Rehab, a leading provider of behavioral health services for over 50 years, is pleased to announce the opening of its 12-bed, all-gender, adolescent residential treatment program on its main campus in Center Twp., PA.
This new youth program, backed by Beaver County Behavioral Health and the Board of Commissioners of Beaver County, is in the recently renovated Tom Rutter House and serves ages 13-18. The facility has been tailored to the unique needs of teens struggling with substance misuse and dependency. These renovations have created a welcoming, age-appropriate space that promotes healing, personal growth and substance use disorder education.
Kate Lowery, SCA Administrator for Beaver County Behavioral Health, said, “We are grateful for our long-standing partnership with Gateway Rehab Center, and for this opportunity to offer a much-needed service to the youth and families of our county. People can and do recover from substance use disorder. There is hope.”
The expansion aligns with Gateway’s commitment to offering a full continuum of care, ensuring adolescents now can also access a local residential program and transition seamlessly to telehealth counseling upon completion. The program will also feature a dedicated family therapist, individualized care plans, access to our psychiatric team, and the use of recreational amenities on campus.
